Shannon is the first point of contact for Harris clients, the thoughtful team member who answers the phone and greets you in the lobby. Her job entails keeping the Harris operation running smoothly—including tasks related to mail, scheduling and inventory. She’s spent a large part of her career serving others in positions related to education and family services—as an elementary computer lab manager, Shannon led math and reading lab instruction for nearly 300 students. As a family services advocate, she put her excellent interpersonal skills to use helping recruit and educate parents. As one who loves to help others, Shannon appreciates that Harris’ values—mutual respect, integrity, and heart—align with hers.
Shannon is a true outdoorswoman, staying active by hiking, biking, walking, and camping. While out and about in the natural world, she and her husband pick up litter, believing that small actions make big impacts in a community. Her husband Simon is a British citizen and they travel frequently overseas, including to England, Scotland, Wales, and Norway. They have a trip planned to Washington D.C. and a tour of the White House and next on the bucket list is a trip to New Zealand and Australia. She’s a mom to two grown children.
