In his birth country of Kenya, Sam helped run a family business from an early age—helping set the stage for his current accounting prowess. At Harris, he conducts audits for retirement plans, nonprofits, school districts, and government agencies, ensuring client compliance with applicable standards and requirements. Sam consults with clients to resolve audit issues and implement processes to establish more effective financial controls.
Sam puts his multilingualism to work by serving as a volunteer interpreter for Boise and Meridian schools, helping refugees from Africa more easily transition to their new lives. He’s a huge fan of Arsenal Football and hopes to one day see the team play live in their home stadium of Emirates in London. Sam and Jane, his wife of 10 years, are the proud parents of three daughters.
