Peg got into the numbers game at age 17, when she took a bank teller position at a local credit union. She worked her way through each of the bank’s departments until she landed in accounting—and there she decided to stay. She discovered an aptitude and appreciation for accounting principles that launched a 20+ year career helping clients understand and manage their financials. Peg’s experience ranges from processing accounts payable for a large commercial equipment distributor to performing accounting duties for a property management firm, processing rental and mortgage payments, invoices, and weekly payroll, and supporting CPAs with financial reporting. She has a strong background in the real estate and the mortgage industries.
Harris clients appreciate Peg’s thorough and accurate bookkeeping as well as her enthusiasm for explaining the ins and outs of their accounting systems. She is equally adept at reviewing and resolving financial data discrepancies for small businesses as she is for large multistate and national corporations.
Peg grew up in Orlando and Philadelphia, and she’s still a devoted Eagles fan. Her dad is her number one hero. A marine and the top demolitions expert in the Vietnam War, he survived being captured and escaping—and instilled in Peg his values of honor, courage, and commitment. Peg is mom to two grown children and is currently teaching herself to play bass guitar.
