After spending 14 years as a Managing Broker for a multi-office real estate company, Melanie’s solution-oriented personality drove her to make the shift to the accounting industry. As the Receptionist and Executive Assistant to Pam McClain and Dan Deagle, Melanie’s robust background in upper management, paired with her keen understanding of administrative procedures, allows her to address problems and swiftly seek solutions. Unique to the Harris office, Melanie is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in Idaho and California. Her can-do attitude, immaculate organizational skills, and lively personality make her an ideal person to assist clients, Partners, and every member of the Harris team with even the most complex administrative tasks.

Originally born in a small town in Texas, Melanie moved to California as a teen, where she participated in track and field and played the flute in high school. While living in California, Melanie organized and participated in more than ten years of Community Service Days to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Bay Area. Enthusiastic by nature, she has been featured on an HGTV real estate show, an adventuring show on the Discovery channel, and multiple worldwide news broadcasts following a major earthquake in California. When she’s not in the office, Melanie loves to spend in the great outdoors with her husband, Kevin, and their two sons.
