As a student, Matt was always interested in business, and became hooked on accounting after taking his first course. He specializes in tax preparation helping Harris clients with all of their federal and state tax needs. Matt brings almost five years of experience in the nonprofit and construction industries.
Matt is an Eagle Scout, which means he is the person you want to bring along on a camping trip in Idaho’s bear country. He grew up playing the viola and today can still eke out some tunes on the bass guitar and the drums—and, little known fact, is quite good at beat boxing. He’s also a game freak (strategy games only, please); his game pile is literally stacked from the floor to the ceiling. His travel claim highlight is a visit to the estate of Claude Monet in Giverny, France. Matt and his wife Kristen have been married for over four years, and they have a young daughter.
