Jason’s experience with complex tax engagements and his drive to tackle big challenges make him invaluable to Harris clients. His expertise includes leading large real estate engagements involving tax compliance, planning, and consulting for partnerships and corporations. Jason has worked with clients of all sizes throughout his career, spanning from high net worth individuals all the way to Fortune 500 companies with over $1 billion in annual revenue.
Sharing knowledge with clients and staff is one of the most satisfying parts of the job for Jason. In a previous position, he led an 8-month virtual tax technology course for all of the tax associates and senior associates in his office, which culminated in an in-person capstone experience at the firm’s national training. Jason also enjoys working closely with clients to solve process and technology issues; he recently helped his one of his largest clients develop and implement process improvements that have saved them hundreds of hours in time spent gathering financial data in order to complete their annual tax returns.
Jason seeks out challenges in his personal life, as well. He’s an avid backpacker, rock climber, mountain biker, and overall adventurer. He spent a month solo-traveling through Southeast Asia, and recently trekked to and from Mount Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas. Jason made another big move recently, relocating to Idaho from his home state of Georgia. He was a Habitat for Humanity volunteer in Atlanta and is seeking new opportunities to give back as he settles in to the Treasure Valley. Jason’s other hobbies include playing guitar and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves.
