Sarah Funk
Tax Senior
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Sarah has more than ten years of experience helping reduce her clients’ tax liabilities through savvy and effective business practices. Her experience in the accounting field began as an intern at JR Simplot and flourished with being a freelance accountant for over a decade. Sarah works with a wide range of clients, ranging from individuals to corporations and various-sized businesses in construction, nonprofit, and private financial management. She always says, “Accounting is the language of business,” and she loves interpreting data and correlations into proactive solutions tailor-fit to her client’s unique needs and circumstances.
Sarah was locally born and raised in the Magic Valley, Idaho. Inspired by the strength and resilience of Malala Yousafzai, she dedicates much of her spare time to her community, serving on the Board of Directors for Rotary of Hailey, volunteering for the Kiwanis, and previously chairing a grant committee for girls’ empowerment for the Wezesha Project in Uganda. A lover of academics, she has plans to further her education with a Doctorate in Business after obtaining her CPA license. When she isn’t riding her motorcycle or learning a new skill, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
