Rachel began her career at Harris CPAs as an intern while in school was quickly promoted to staff accountant. Rachel is very team oriented, ahead of deadlines, loves working closely with clients and is keen on taking responsibility for projects. Finding a balance developing a career while simultaneously earning her degree in Accounting is a difficult task, but Rachel has mastered this and is also one of the most rewarding things she has done. . As a staff accountant, she prepares individual and business tax returns for entities in various industries, and helps with the fieldwork and drafting process for the firm’s audit and review clients.

Growing up in Middleton, Idaho, Rachel was very competitive from an early age. She played volleyball, basketball and ran track in high school. To wind down, she loves reading and taking care of her house plants. One might be surprised to know about her love of cars, and she is currently working on converting hers into a rally car to take on the Idaho trails, and to race competitively in local groups. In the future, she hopes to one day move to Europe with her boyfriend and their two dogs
