Ben Murray, CPA
Senior Accountant
Ben is a knowledgeable, accurate tax professional, applying his aptitude for problem solving to individual and corporate returns. He also prepares financials for assurance engagements and helps pinpoint areas for process improvements to help clients gather high-quality data more efficiently. A recent graduate, Ben gained a strong accounting foundation in previous positions with Vacasa and Boise State University’s Health Services. Ben’s also tech-savvy, a trait that makes many of our lives easier; while working at BSU, he and a coworker designed a system using Excel VBA and Power BI to compile and compare financial data—a method that was adopted by other university departments.
Ben is the ultimate Music Man. He performed as a bassoonist in Boise State University’s Symphonic Winds and also plays the electric bass, ukulele, and several percussion instruments. He stays busy gaming, home brewing, and cycling—and is always up for trying new recipes and restaurants. Bavaria, Germany, is a favorite destination; Ben has visited friends in a small town in the region called Altötting several times and can’t wait to go back.
