With over a decade of experience, April’s passion is helping small businesses successfully solve complex tax and accounting-related issues. After receiving two associate’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and Bookkeeping from the College of Southern Idaho, April pursued her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Boise State University. Putting her degrees to action, she served as an Administrative Assistant at Friedman Memorial Airport for ten years before becoming a Staff Accountant at Deagle Ames for three years. Over the course of her career, April has built an expertise in tax law, tax planning, bookkeeping, and financial statements, and reconciliation. She has vast experience working with clients from just about every industry, including nonprofits, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates, but ultimately, she prefers to work with doctors, dentists, and small businesses. A lover of numbers, April revels in scrubbing books and cleaning up financial statements to ensure her clients are properly prepared for tax season. In the process, she especially looks forward to identifying new strategies that help her clients minimize taxes and grow their business.

Originally from Susanville, California, April and her family moved to Buhl, Idaho, when she was four years old. Growing up, she was always involved in music and dance and even won several awards for singing and dancing. In her spare time, April loves to read and continues to sing and play the piano. When she isn’t reading a book or volunteering with her church, April loves spending time with her three beautiful children and hopes to one day tour Europe with her husband, Casey.
