5:15 – 5:25 – Jeremy Schalk, Project Manager with Wright Brothers will teach us about the cost and comparison of conventional versus modular construction and contracting Business Interiors of Idaho as a sub. He will also cover the pros of Landlord and tenant owner of this product.
5:25 – 5:40 – Josh Tyree, Partner with Harris CPAs will review the tax advantages of modular construction. Learn about the breakdown of standard permanent building depreciation, cash flow advantages and writing off walls as equipment, and real world scenarios using modular building.
5:50 – 6:10 – Tom McFarlin, VP of Operations with Compunet will share his experience of utilizing modular walls in his own office space. We will also look at other buildings throughout the west that have adopted this type of construction, how to manage change, your return on reconfigures, and will give us a conservative viewpoint on subleasing space with modular construction.
5:50 – 6:20 – Jeff Heath, CEO of Business Interiors of Idaho will walk through their space and explain the build out & model for Wheelhouse. He will show the flexibility of the product, how to build off the linear grid, and the speed in which this type of building can be changed.
