Nonprofit & Government Webinar: Attacks on Key Infrastructure- How to Prepare and Respond

This session examines common attack vectors, such as ransomware, used by malicious actors against critical government financial infrastructure and systems. Discussion will also touch on methods to prevent and detect breaches and steps to prepare for and react to an eventual breach or attack. 2 credits of CPE will be offered with a field of study in Information technology (IT).

Learning Objectives

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how malicious actors introduce harmful and malicious software into the network and critical systems.
  • Identify practical ways to monitor for and prevent attacks from occurring or to limit their impact.
  • Learn a practical approach for preparing an incident response and the steps to take immediately after an attack or breach.
