Construction Breakfast Series – Tax Changes On the Horizon: What Contractors Need to Know
The past year was particularly difficult for construction companies. Many contractors depleted their backlogs faster than they could replenish them, and increased competition in the bidding process suppressed profit margins. For some contractors, a good tax plan for 2021 could make the difference in getting through these turbulent times. Join us in person, as our Tax Director, Terry Kissler, CPA, discusses tax changes and items from the American Rescue Plan affecting contractors, and a few predictions on what you can expect from administration later this year.
More about our speaker: Terry’s tax and accounting acumen derive from nearly a decade planning and preparing taxes and addressing specialized accounting issues for his clients. He enjoys working with a range of client business types and specializes in construction, farm and ag-related corporations. He thrives on gaining an understanding of clients’ business goals and structuring their entity types to encourage growth and take advantage of tax savings. He’s adept at maximizing revenue flow from the business to individual owners with no surprises come tax time.
